If you’re a regular on my blog you’ll know I’m obsessed with good skin and the best ways to fake it. I’ve been religiously using Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue gel lately and setting it with a fine dusting of the original Bare Minerals powder foundation using a fan brush. I have very sensitive skin which flares up easily (especially on my nose, which I find really annoying!) What I love about these products is they give my skin the coverage I want without looking heavy. Heavy foundation is incredibly ageing. I think the most beautiful thing is seeing someone’s actual skin and these products veil imperfections while letting things like freckles shine through. I simply build up the foundation in places I need it like my nose and between the eyebrows (this is a place where redness can really age your face). Overall I am surprised and delighted with how lovely these test shots came out. This is natural light in the park with no retouching at all. I think the combination of a good quality foundation and excellent skincare regime is essential for women in the late 30’s like me. I have been using the Korres Castanea Arcadia Day Cream, Night Cream, and Eye Cream since March and my skin is really improved. It is smoother and firmer with less visible pores and less blemishes. I even got asked for ID in Waitrose the other day! #WINNING
