The first thing I think of when I thing what’s a great gift for a man is a nice soap and razor for shaving. It’s a practical gift they’ll use every day but if you go the extra mile to get something special it will really brighten up the bathroom (and their skin!). This Cor Silver soap works as an all-in-one cleanser, toner and moisturiser. It can also be used for shaving – the silver and other nourishing ingredients help reduce razor burn, ingrown hairs, and the redness that many men may experience when shaving. The Silver Soap was voted Best Cleanser in the 2016 Beauty Shortlist awards (Men’s Grooming). I just love the classic and streamlined design of the Classic Wilkinson Sword Double Edge razor. It reminds me of my grandfather and men in black and white films looking dapper. Next up is a little combo I created for the man who’s always on the move. These buttery Oat biscuits from Fortnum and Mason are a decadent treat to pop in your hand luggage and I’m told they pair very well with the champagne in the Business Class lounge. The ultra rich Aveeno hand cream is also cabin bag friendly and will combat the dryness from flying or frequent handwashing during travel. Finally, this luxury candle from exclusive perfumer Clive Christian will spruce up any hotel room with the unmistakable scent of their unisex fragrance 1872. These fun accessories from Pantone are sure to delight the artists and programmers in your life! I fell instantly in love with this mug and keychain in 2018’s Colour of The Year Ultra-Violet ( I have my own Ultra-Violet circa 2010) The Business card case is especially clever and will make a perfect stocking stuffer. These are all available from The Design Museum online or in the Tate Shop. I’m a little selfish when it comes to great scents but the first time I smelled iMantara’s Andaman Aromasoul Room Spray and Massage and Body Oil I knew that I had to share. The fragrance is heady and masculine yet totally romantic and calming. It’s a great gift for anyone but especially the one you love. It’s from London’s Thai Square Spa, housed in a refurbished Victorian Turkish bath with Roman, Thai and Turkish design elements which we’ll definitely be visiting in 2019! This little combination is a great one for the man in your life who loves him a bit of pampering. The bareMinerals Claymates Mask Duo both brightens and firms, smells delicious and looks cute on your bathroom shelf. The Korres Castanea Arcadia Firming Eye Cream is a clinically proven age defying formula and this eye cream is rich and nourishing while firming and reducing wrinkles. I just love these Peper Harow socks are full of personality! They’re an ultrafine knit in beautiful, vibrant colours that will instantly make you smile. I’m hoping there’s some in my stocking too! Finally, for the man who has everything I suggest a fragrance from the house of Clive Christian, creater of the worlds most expensive perfume. All of his fragrances come in masculine and feminine versions but I found all 3 I samples to be perfect for either a man or a woman. One of the only things I could be close to called snobby about is fragrance. You can simply smell the difference between qualities of perfumes. I hate when a scent smells the same on everyone who wears it and this is true of some of the most sought after designer scents, that sameness to me strips it of any mystique. A fragrance should transform on the skin, in the air around you and be as distinct as your voice. So for the one who is like no other, give a fragrance of unparalleled pedigree. Gosh, this is the first time I’ve written about mens stuff! What do you think? Who should I try out next?Leave me a note in the comments!A xx 0 FacebookTwitterGoogle +Pinterest previous post Gift Guide: The Beauty Addict next post Great Gift Ideas: Hippy Chic You may also like Unstoppable: Daisy-May Demetre In focus: Liberty Tyler Review: Hape Street Surfer Classic beauty: Lotte Musing with Freya Mac A Most Curious Wedding Fair Review: Fushi BioVedic Skincare Surviving a Dumpster Fire Gift ideas: Ladylike Gift Ideas: Sweet Indulgence Leave a Comment Cancel Reply Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
